Here are some of our personal favorite scriptures from God's word.
This scripture is our basis to GO FORWARD knowing we are being called by God to create this ministry!
15 But when God, who set me apart from birth and called me by his grace, was pleased 16 to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among
the Gentiles, I did not consult any man, 17 nor did I go up to Jerusalem to see those who were apostles before I was, but I went immediately into
Arabia and later returned to Damascus.
Galatians 1:15-17 (New International Version)
Here are some more that continue to give us inspiration and faith.
Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God...
John 1:12 (New International Version)
11 Here is a trustworthy saying:
If we died with him,
we will also live with him;
12 if we endure,
we will also reign with him.
If we disown him,
he will also disown us;
13 if we are faithless,
he will remain faithful,
for he cannot disown himself.
2 Timothy 2:11-13 (New International Version)
Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers,
against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and
against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore
put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you
may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Ephesians 6:12-13 (New International Version)
As it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has
conceived what God has prepared for those who love him.
1 Corinthians 2:9 (New International Version)
23 "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,'
and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.
24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Mark 11:23-24 (New International Version, requested to be added by Brent, New York)
10 Now Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, "Oh that You would bless me indeed and enlarge my border,
and that Your hand might be with me, and that You would keep me from harm that it may not pain me!"
And God granted him what he requested.
1 Chronicles 4:10 (New American Standard Bible)
Luke 5 (NIV)
The Calling of the First Disciples
1 One day as Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret, with the people crowding around him and listening to the word of God, 2 he saw at
the water's edge two boats, left there by the fishermen, who were washing their nets. 3 He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to
Simon, and asked him to put out a little from shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat.
4 When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, "Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch."
5 Simon answered, "Master, we've worked hard all night and haven't caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets."
6 When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. 7 So they signaled their partners in the other
boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.
8 When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus' knees and said, "Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!" 9 For he and all his companions were
astonished at the catch of fish they had taken, 10 and so were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, Simon's partners.
Then Jesus said to Simon, "Don't be afraid; from now on you will catch men."
11 So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him.
